Wood Turning at Cranberry Lake ~ 2005 ish
My brother Clint bought a new inexpensive benchtop wood lathe
(known as the older lathe now as it has been replaced with a newer, new
lathe - a Jet). Both are long bed, 12" or so swing lathes.
I have the items below.

Wood is Cherry from tree on Cranberry Lake property.
5" diameter, 2 3/4" tall, 1/16" thin sides.

4 3/8" diameter, 2 1/8" tall, 3/16" medium thin sides, flat bottom.

Pretty good surface by tool - no sanding.
